Carefully separate egg whites into a bowl being sure not to get any egg yolk into the egg whites.

Add the cream of tartar and egg whites into a large bowl.
Step 4:
Start adding the sugar one tablespoon at a time.

Whisk on high speed until the mixture forms stiff and shiny peaks.
Step 6:
Divide the mixture into 12 circles.
