Gluten Free Pizza Crust
Pizza Hut offers a gluten free pizza crust as an option when ordering pizza and then you can choose your preferred topping.
Their gluten free pizza crust is rectangular or square shaped so it is easily distinguished from the regular pizza crusts. It comes unsliced as they do not use the pizza cutters in the kitchen to reduce cross-contamination but when dining in their restaurant they provide you with a sharp knife to slice your pizza.
See the image above for the gluten-free pepperoni with extra cheese pizza that I had on my recent visit to Pizza Hut.
You can also view the Pizza Hut blog that goes into some information on reasons to eat gluten free pizza with them. They also have their full allergens information available to view.

Reducing Cross-Contamination
Pizza Hut is GF accredited by Coeliac UK and you can see a list of venues available on the website. Coeliac UK state "Pizza Hut offers a gluten free pizza base and have worked hard to ensure that all its tasty pizza sauces and toppings, on both their restaurant and take away menus, are also gluten free."
Be aware the self-serve salad bar is not covered under Pizza Hut’s accreditation from Coeliac UK.
At my local restaurant they cook the gluten free pizza in a separate oven from the regular pizza. They do not use their pizza cutters to slice the pizza and the gluten free pizza is served with a knife for you to slice it yourself.

Gluten Free Pizza Hut Review
Pizza Hut is making an effort to try and accommodate the gluten-free community and although there is always a risk of cross-contamination it's great to see them put the steps in place to try and make it as safe as they can for anyone following a gluten free diet.
Always ask your local Pizza Hut what steps they have in place before ordering just be sure that they are maintaining the standard provided by Coeliac UK.
I would love to know your experience and review when ordering from Pizza Hut good or bad. Please share your review in the comments below.
