Just because you are gluten-free doesn't mean you can't enjoy a coffee on the go when out and about. I have put together a guide on gluten free options at Starbucks. So if you have been thinking about what is gluten free at Starbucks, Is there gluten free food at Starbucks, or what gluten free drinks at Starbucks are available. Then this is the guide for you!

When living gluten free it can be somewhat confusing when drinking and eating out especially in the beginning. I remember I would and sometimes still do get slightly anxious.

It involves being upfront with your server regarding your dietary requirements before placing an order and having trust that they understood your needs and reducing the chances of cross-contamination.

DISCLAIMER - I do not have a medical background and I do give out medical advice. All guides below are for informational purposes and were correct at the time of publishing. Always ask the barista when ordering drinks and make them aware that you require your order to be gluten free. To check the full list from the Starbucks allergen menu.

I thought Starbucks used Oatly for their Oat Milk. Is this not gluten free?

Thank you for your comment. Not all Starbucks use gluten free certified Oatly for their milk. If in any doubt always check with the barista to be sure that it is safe and gluten free.

            Hi Kate,
Having checked the Oatly website it seems that it depends on where you are based as to if Oatly is made gluten free. They state "In the US our products are certified gluten free (as they are made with Canadian gluten free oats), but on all other markets they are not."
So if you are in the US Oatly is labelled gluten free but everywhere else they do not use certified gluten free oats.
I hope this has been helpful you can find more information on their website https://community.oatly.com/conversations/articles/oatly-and-gluten/62b42b388028f87cf939b6ad
